The current AppliCations No. 2 summarize the information presented in AppliChem's brochure "Biological Buffers". The core of the AppliCations is a table giving all basic information on the most frequently used biological buffers: pKa value, effective buffer range, autoclavable buffers, compatibility with protein assays, temperature-dependence of the pH value and further comments.
